Dutch workshops for kids
Brussels
Talk, Laugh, Grow!
Time travel, and so much more!
This year, your children will travel through different eras, all while learning languages through fun and play.
From building their own time machine to meeting dinosaurs, exploring ancient Egypt, and discovering technological breakthroughs, your children will have so much to explore.
Of course, the focus will also be on pronunciation, listening, and building solid foundations, ensuring their journey goes as smoothly as possible.
Don’t wait any longer—give your children a language-learning year filled with discovery, games, and a caring atmosphere.
Learning method
The EcoleDeLangues.be team believes in learning by doing.
This means that children learn English or Dutch through fun, interactive activities. Every everyday action is reinterpreted in the target language to directly link what the child experiences with what they hear. Their daily routines (snack time, games, nap time, friends, school, etc.) are revisited by our activity leaders, who make sure to communicate as much as possible with the children in the target language.
Every week, our leaders receive a booklet featuring the theme of the week along with its associated games, crafts, songs, and other activities. The chosen themes take into account the highlights of the school year (Halloween, Saint Nicholas, Christmas, Carnival, etc.).
As a parent, you will gain access to our platform, where you will find the workshop content, links to our songs, and the calendar. Don’t forget to log in from time to time!
Our approach ensures that we aren’t just adding another class after school, but rather offering a gentle, intuitive, and playful learning experience that builds upon the child’s own environment!
Small groups to better learn
We will suggest a group according to your child’s age.
Unlike school, where classes are large, our groups are very small, so the teacher can concentrate on the needs and difficulties of each individual.
From M2 and M3, the children are found in the same group. During the sessions, they will familiarize themselves with the language and learn basic vocabulary as well as small everyday phrases. It’s the group of Grappige Schaapjes
(see our shop at the bottom of the page for opening times)

From M3 to P2, the emphasis will always be on oral skills. Play remains central to the learning process! We sing, play and talk more and more! This is the group of Kro-Kro-Kodiles
(see our shop at the bottom of the page for opening times)
From P3 to P6, From P3 to P6, the teacher will always emphasize oral skills and the children will also learn to write and do short exercises. We are the Speelse Uilen and we are preparing for high school!
